Another easy winner last night in Miami over Pitt. Young Tino Sunseri looked pretty good last night, aye? On to tonight's Texas style shootout; I am not really in love with this line, but the match-up should be fun to watch. TCU is still a bit over-rated in my opinion and they need a reality check more then any team in the country. Too bad there is nobody to give it to them other then Utah in November. Do they seriously play these schedules and expect to be considered for the National Championship? Of course, the Horned Frogs can score points in bunches as long as Dalton is settled in. At the same time, SMU is a program on the rise and has an offense that can score points. This was right around the same line when SMU played Texas Tech two weeks ago (it was 14). Granted, SMU only covered in the Texas Tech game due to poor coaching decisions by ed Raider coach Tommy Tuberville along with a few lucky bounces. However, it was still a shootout of 62 points (could have been more) and this one will be too. I will lay two units on the over. TCU is also playing their first road game of the season and may get caught off guard early. They will get every team's best game this year. I see SMU getting off to a solid start, but not being able to keep up. I will be expecting TCU to pull away in the second half with perhaps a backdoor cover by SMU. I think SMU +17.5 at home is worth laying one unit. They're too big of a home-dog for me to lay off the side. It will also be fun to root for the big upset (which can always happen). Looking to see a total score in the 70's (not the 50's).
