Visionary's Free NFL Picks For Saturday

2008 MLB Baseball Record: 39-32 (+36.30 Units)
2008 NFL Preseason Record: 15-5 (+28.80 Units)

Well, we hit both NFL preseason plays on Friday night. However, the baseball dogs spoiled it as they both lost close ones. Got a nice card of NFL preseason football picks for Saturday. Gonna stay away from the bases today as I don't want to continue this slump. Always stick with what's workin' for ya when handicapping. I also have my fantasy football draft today and I have to prepare now. So, gotta run. Here are Saturday's footbll plays...

2 NFL Picks n' 2 MLB Plays 4 Friday, 8/22/08

2008 MLB Baseball Record: 39-30 (+42.30 Units)
2008 NFL Preseason Record: 13-5 (+21.80 Units)

The Visionary had another profitable 2-1 (+3.1 Units) day as San Francisco controlled the game vs. the Chicago Bears. Again, this football season, I will gladly take-on & kick the snot out of any handicapping service who thinks they are a handicapper. Two months of posting and I am well up over 50 units. If you are a $10 bettor, you already made over $500 with my picks. $100 bettor made 5K in two months with my picks. I will do this all football season and it will be completely free of charge. You can make money this football season and you don't have to pay any money for it.

One of my 2008 NFL predictions on the Chicago Bears this season; Not only are the Bears going to be bad this year, but they are going to be one of the worst teams in the NFL. You can only live off substandard quarterback play for so long before it catches up with you. Going with Kyle Orton because he makes less mistakes is pathetic. You can't play to 'not lose' in the National Football League.

Who wants Friday's plays? I have (2) NFL picks & (2) MLB plays for Friday night. I feel really good about this card. Here it is...

2008 MLB Baseball Record: 38-30 (+40.00 Units)
2008 NFL Preseason Record: 12-4 (+21.00 Units)

There we go. A very nice 2-0 (+8 unit) much-needed bounce back Wednesday that we really needed. On to Thursday's NFL preseason action. After handicapping this one and analyzing it over for an hour or so, I like tonight's matchup a lot. There's not much on the baseball schedule that I am very excited about. But, I do have one MLB underdog play that jumped out at me. I like both the side and total tonight in the NFL Preseason matchup. Here they are...

No More Horse-Collar Tackles (AKA the T.O. rule) in College Football

Following the lead of the NFL and acting on a proposal made by its Football Rules Committee, the NCAA will assess a penalty this season when a runner is yanked to the ground from the inside collar of his shoulder pads or jersey.

Other changes announced Wednesday include a clarification of rules on chop blocks, or tackling below the knees, and implementation of a 40-second play clock that will start as soon as the ball is ruled dead. Previously, a 25-second clock began only on the referee's signal.
The NCAA also will emphasize consistency in officiating, including blending crews from different conferences.

Rogers Redding, NCAA football secretary-rules editor and co-ordinator of football officials for the Southeastern Conference, said the horse-collar ban may result in fewer back injuries.

"What we're hearing from trainers and physicians is we're getting some back injuries when the ball carrier is immediately snapped to the ground by being jerked quickly," he said. "If the ball carrier is grabbed by
the shoulder or jersey and just ridden to the ground over a couple of yards, that's not going to be a foul."
The chop block will now be defined as any high-low combination block by any two players against an opponent other than the runner, anywhere on the field, anytime in the game and with or without a delay between the hits, Redding said.

Football officials support the change, said Dave Parry, head of College Football Officiating and co-ordinator of officiating for the Big Ten.
"We'll err on the side of safety. We'll defend the official who may be a little more strict, because that's a major point of emphasis," Parry said.

Free Major League Baseball Picks From The Visionary for Wednesday, August 20, 2008

2008 MLB Baseball Record: 36-30 (+32.00 Units)
2008 NFL Preseason Record: 12-4 (+21.00 Units)

Yes, that was an absolutely pathetic 0-2 (-9.5 unit) Wednesday. I am really getting tired of this martingale system that I have been using on the Rangers. Any system that makes me takethe Rangers three times in a row, belongs in the garbage. But, I will have to give it one more shot tonight. I'll get right to it today as I am very disgusted with Wednesday's atrocious results.

Wednesday, 8/20/08 Baseball Picks:

Pick: Texas Rangers -120 (MLB)
Value: 5 Unit Play

Pick: San Francisco Giants -115 (MLB)
Value: 3 Unit Play

(The Visionary's free sports picks are rated on a 1-5 unit scale)

Good Luck.

The Visionary's Free Baseball Picks For Tuesday, August 19, 2008 (No Footbal Today)

2008 MLB Baseball Record: 36-28 (+41.50 Units)
2008 NFL Preseason Record: 12-4 (+21.00 Units)

The Rangers really know how to blow a lead. Man, their pitching is unbelievably pathetic. However, that Monday Night Football game last night was the best preseason game of the year thus far. It's good think the G-Men were able to hold on to win for us or it would have been a very frustrating evening. No football today...boooring. Since, the Rangers play is based on a Martingale system, I will have to ride them again today, but there will be no doubling up. I also have a big home underdog that I like on Tuesday's baseball board. As far as the 2.5 unit play goes, don't worry, there won't be too many of them. Just play the second play at two and a half units tonight.

Tuesday, 8/19/08 Free Baseball Picks:

Pick: Texas Rangers +1.5 -140 (MLB)
Value: 5 Unit Play

Pick: Baltimore Orioles +150 (MLB)
Value: 2.5 Unit Play

(The Visionary's free sports picks are rated on a 1-5 unit scale)

Good Luck.

Visionary's Preseason NFL Picks and Major League Baseball Plays For Monday, August 18, 2008

2008 MLB Baseball Record: 36-27 (+47.00 Units)
2008 NFL Preseason Record: 10-4 (+18.00 Units)

A last minute score by the Lions killed a great day for us. However, The Visionary was dead on with the 4-unit play on Tampa Bay over New England. I'll get right to the plays on Monday as I have a busy day. I do have a big 5-unit baseball play for Monday that I absolutely love. I also went over the Monday Night Football NFL Preseason matchup of Cleveland & New York. I found a play for this one, but I can't move any serious money on this game. For some reason, this NFL preseason seems a little bit more challenging to me then previous year's Pre-NFL. Anyway, how bout' we pad those bankrolls tonight fellas...

Monday's 8/18 NFL Picks & Baseball Picks:

Pick: Texas Rangers -110 (MLB)
Value: 5 Unit Play

Pick: New York Giants -1 (NFL)
Value: 2 Unit Play

Pick: Browns/Giants Over 35.5 (NFL)
Value: 1 Unit Play

(The Visionary's free sports picks are rated on a 1-5 unit scale)

Good Luck & Stay Away From The Losers!

The Visionary's MLB Baseball & NFL Football Picks For Sunday, August 17, 2008

2008 MLB Baseball Record: 36-26 (+49.00 Units)
2008 NFL Preseason Record: 9-3 (+16.20 Units)

We had a perfect 3-0 day on Saturday and picked up another 9 units. Look at Saturday's post; this is exactly what I mean when I say make the winning days big ones and the losing days small ones. I will continue to destroy the books this football season, just like I have done with the baseball picks. I will happily take on any ripoff scamdicapper out there that thinks he knows how to handicap and will destroy them. It's a shame no too many people know about this blog yet. The few readers I have, I hope that they are making money betting these 100% free sports picks. Stick with The Visionary this football season and you will see a lot more winning days then losing ones. Just two NFL preseason plays for Sunday along with a big home-dog in the bases.

Sunday 8/17 NFL Football & MLB Baseball Picks:

Pick: Tampa Bay Buccaneers -1.5 (NFL)
Value: 4 Unit Play

Pick: Pittsburgh Pirates +170 (MLB)
Value: 2 Unit Play

Pick: Lions/Bengals Under 36 (NFL)
Value: 2 Unit Play

(The Visionary's free sports picks are rated on a 1-5 unit scale)

Good Luck & Bet The Winners Only Today!
